Our knowledge based twenty-first century economy is driven by continuous innovation. Ryan Elementary STEAM School is a community where students, staff, and families partner to make each day a powerful learning experience for our children​. Ryan focuses on developing the whole child with the BVSD Guaranteed and Viable Curriculum, experiential project-based learning activities in the STEAM areas before, during, and after school, as well as service learning opportunities.
MISSION
​The mission of Ryan Elementary STEAM School is to prepare our students to succeed in the 21st century workforce and Beyond. Ryan will cultivate students who are well-rounded and caring citizens prepared to succeed, both academically and socially, in a global world.
Vision
Our students will receive equitable access to a guaranteed and viable curriculum in all content areas, and will be adept in the most current technology supporting learning, instruction, and critical thinking. They will also receive educational and social opportunities to learn and demonstrate successful problem solving and critical thinking skills that support both their academic work and the development of positive and productive relationships with their fellow students, their teachers, their families and the broader community.

The Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics focus at Ryan Elementary School provides students with enrichment opportunities in the STEAM areas. Students engage in project-based learning that aligns with Common Core standards and helps them develop applied critical thinking skills within a social context.
